Join the TWG Committee and shape the future of our organisation
Join the TWG Committee in 2022, and help to shape the future of our organisation. We have space on the committee for some new members in 2022 as some current committee members will step down after several years. 2022 is the TWG centenary year so it will be a busy and exciting time for the committee.
We try to play to our strengths and would love some enthusiastic committee members who have the time and skills (or time to acquire those skills) in the following areas:
- Treasurer: our current treasurer is remaining on the committee and can talk you through the handover. If you have book-keeping or accounting skills this would be ideal.
- Committee member: social media, communications, events, membership, sponsorship and fundraising. If you have skills to offer in any of these areas we’d love to have your help!
A willingness to learn is welcome too.
What is the time commitment?
We meet once a month, usually on a weekday evening for an hour on zoom. There may be some additional work in between meetings, for example, updating the website, posting on social media or meeting with speakers in advance of events. We try to spread the workload to accommodate the other demands that we all have with work and family commitments.
Do I have to be a Trinity Women Graduate?
No, but you do have to be a member of TWG – so if you identify as a woman and are a graduate of higher education in a recognised university you can join TWG and the committee.
What’s in it for me?
The chance to shape the future of TWG! It’s also good fun, a great way to strengthen your connections within the alumni community and to make new friends.
How do I join the committee?
You need to be proposed by a current TWG member at the next AGM (Saturday 22nd January 2022). Once you are proposed and seconded you can become a committee member (within our max limit for committee members at any one time).
