TWG Membership makes a difference

Your membership renewal for 2020 is vital to support the work of TWN and provides valuable funds that go towards several Trinity Access Programme Student sponsorships and awards. We also help to fund a new post graduate award, worth €1000, that has been award this year to a very impressive young woman called Aisling Byrne. Aisling is a TAP student and a mature student, studying for an MPhil in Gender and Women’s Studies. She has been involved with Stop Domestic Abuse in Ireland, an organisation that assists women and men in escaping from abusive relationships. Not only does this organisation help with basic assistance such as clothing or essentials such as prams or cots, but also with legal advice. Stop Domestic Abuse in Ireland also carries out research into the area of domestic violence.
