TWG Supports

TWG supports future and former members with a number of financial programmes.

Trinity Access Programme (TAP)

TWG maintains an Education Fund to support women students who enter Trinity College Dublin via the Trinity Access Programme:

  • Junior Fresh Award - an annual €500 award to the woman student who achieves the highest overall score in their Junior Fresh Examinations

  • Four Year Scholarship - a €1,000 per annum scholarship to a student nominated by TAP

  • Post Grad Award - in 2020 TWG made a €1,000 award to a post-graduate student nominated by TAP. We hope to continue this award in future, subject to securing funding from a suitable sponsor.

TCD Student Counselling - Sexual Consent Education and Development

In 2020 TWG donated €1,000 to TCD Student Counselling to support focus groups with underrepresented and hard-to-reach sections of the Trinity community who might not otherwise have been able to provide insight into the curriculum for Sexual Consent education. The contribution of these focus groups has been significant and will be reflected on “Together”, Student Counselling’s soon-to-be launched consent website.

Bursary

TWG makes a number of discretionary payments out of our Bursary Fund to former members who are in financial difficulties.

Your donations help us maintain our Education, Bursary and General Funds, making these programs possible.
