Tickets are now open for the 2022 Irish Federation of University Women (IrFUW) Annual Conference, hosted by Queen’s Women Graduates Association.
Dates: Friday 14th October (evening), Saturday 15th October (10.00 – 4.30pm)

When and where: Friday 14 October 2022 at the Great Hall, Queen's University Belfast
Programme:
6:30pm-7:30pm: Prosecco reception with live music from QUB pianist Celine Regan
7 :30pm: Seated for dinner
After dinner, our guest speaker will be Hilary McCollum; Northern Irish author, storyteller, activist, and chair of Women Aloud NI.
Price: Tickets for dinner cost £45. This includes a prosecco reception with live music, three-course meal with buffet-style main, and a glass of wine or soft drink with dinner.

10:15am - 11:15am: IrFUW council meeting. (Note, this meeting is for IrFUW members only, guests are welcome to join from 11:15am)
11:15am - 12:00pm: Welcome, Registration, introductions, and tea, coffee, and scones.
12:10pm - 12:50pm: Entrepreneur Born or Made? By Lori-Gatsby-Barnett - Entrepreneur, Motivational Speaker, Founder of the JoinHer Network, an open-for-all, internationally diverse group of women whose scope of work is to change women’s lives for the better.
12:50pm - 1:35pm: Light lunch
1:35pm - 2:20pm: Isabella Tod: A Nineteenth-century Belfast Disruptor by Dr Leanne McCormmick - Senior Lecturer in Modern Irish Social History and Director of the Centre for the History of Medicine in Ireland (CHOMI) at Ulster University.
2:25pm - 3:10pm: Mary Ann McCracken: The Life and Times of an Extraordinary Woman by Mary Alice Clancy - Development Coordinator of the Mary Ann McCracken Foundation. Educated in Boston and Belfast, she is the author of two books and several articles on Northern Ireland. Her work has been featured in the Guardian, BBC Radio 4, El Correo, and Al-Jazeera.
3:10pm -3:25pm: Break for tea, coffee, and biscuits
3:25pm - 4:10pm: Raising the Next Generation of Disruptors by Virginia Mendez - Author of Childhood Unlimited and Author of Mika & Lolo children’s books, public speaker, and founder of The Feminist Shop.
4:10pm - 4:30pm - Closing remarks
