Trinity Women Graduates AGM - Saturday, 21 January 2023
Our AGM will take place on campus at Trinity College Dublin Arts Block (Thomas Davis Theatre) on Saturday, 21 January 2023 from 10.00am to 12.30pm. This year, we are delighted to be joined by keynote speaker – playwright, novelist and newspaper columnist, Hilary Fannin. New TWG Members are always welcome! Tea, coffee and pastries will be available from 10am, with proceedings kicking off from 10.30am. Minutes from the 2022 AGM and a copy of the Treasurer’s Report will be circulated before the meeting.
Keynote Speaker - Hilary Fannin
Hilary is an award-winning playwright, novelist and newspaper columnist. Born in Dublin, where she still lives, she was writer in association at the Abbey Theatre in its centenary year, 2004. Her plays have been performed in Ireland, London, Europe and North America. For the past decade she has been writing a weekly column for The Irish Times and was named Irish Broadsheet Columnist of the Year in 2019. Her memoir, Hopscotch, was published to critical acclaim in 2015. Her first novel, The Weight of Love, was published in 2020 and won the John McGahern Award for debut Irish fiction. In 2022 Hilary was awarded an Arts Council Writer Fellowship at Trinity College.
