With the lack of activities outside the house there’s never been a better time to get stuck into a good book. TWG is planning to launch a virtual book club and we’ve chosen a new book by a Trinity Woman Graduate for the first chapter of this new series! Hilary Fannin was a guest speaker at our summer lunch in 2018 and has recently published a novel, “The Weight of Love.” The Sunday Times proclaims it is “already likely to be a serious contender for one of the books of the year.” Fannin studied in Trinity as a mature student and will be well known to Irish Times readers for her insightful columns. Indeed, she was recognised as columnist of the year in 2019. We’re thrilled that she has agreed to launch our virtual book club with a reading from her book and questions and answers.
