The Wheeler Plate, 29 April 2022

On Friday 29th of April, Trinity Hockey Women’s first team and some hockey alumni played against each other in the Wheeler Plate Match. Provost Linda Doyle, who was a goalie for Trinity, attended as a DULHC alumni guest of honour.

The match brought together students and graduates and finished in the Pav with refreshments until closing time. Jenny McEvoy, DULHC President, organised this fun event and remarked on the power and strength of the relations that were made through the Trinity Hockey Club and how the bonds and friendships during the college years have endured. Jenny remarked to the undergraduates how lucky they were to be making similar female friendships and how they will be able to count on them in the future.
